helg@ did a lot of work on this, there was a diff pretty much ready to
commit to be able to use libfuse in 2021 (it was 2.x back then, but closer
to what you'll be wanting than what's in OpenBSD now) which had had a
decent amount of ports testing, but for some reason it didn't go in.
