I tested this patch on some Jasper Lake mini-pc I have and on
where I reported a related bug [1] in the past and I can confirm
the SD card device now works as expected. It's detected whenever
is inserted and it attaches a storage device.

I also tested it on a cheap Gemini Lake laptop with similar issues
and the issue is also solved there, although for that hardware the
SD card is probed only at boot.

Is there any chance this fix can be included in the upcoming release?
