I followed those instructions which lead to the diff I posted.

No problem with that. I sent a diff. No one told me what is wrong about
it. I am still very certain that diff is correct. Now I am left with
someone asking me to stop some kind of game. That leaves me in a
situation I am asking myself why anyone would think I am about to play
some kind of game here. What game? I am not playing any game here. I
don't get it.
