    I did consider changing the wording to something like "checked daily(8)"
    when drafting the patch because i generally like natural integration
    of .Xr links into the text.  It usually reads well, is concise, and clear.
    
    I was merely wary of excessively mangling the style and taste of the
    text because the cvs log and Copyright header looks as if you originally
    wrote this page.
    
    However, given that you agree, i happily committed the above version.
