That is precisely what we are trying to avoid.  In the long term, noone will
use the ports version.  I've reviewed it, and this is not something I would run,
because it jumped the shark many years ago.

I don't buy that argument.  If that's the approach being done by users, then
it means our own documentation is lacking.  It's entirely backwards.
