Perhaps I was misunderstood due to the brevity of my previous message,
so let me clarify.

You’re of course free to reject Renaud’s suggestion - that hardly
needs mentioning - but let’s be honest:
The "-h" proposal was a small tweak, not some grand plan to modify
every binary on the system or add a web GUI anywhere.
Responding by inflating it into something nobody actually suggested,
and then tearing that down, is exactly what a straw man is.

I'm not advocating for the change. I just pointed out the flaw in how
it was dismissed.

Since you've clearly framed the matter as final, there's little point
in continuing the discussion on the merits.
Especially now that you've defaulted to ad personam about my
education. That pretty much speaks for itself.
