Having used OpenBSD since around 2001, I can say I have learned to test
snapshots in -beta, as well as follow the mailing lists, reviewing
changes specifically with disklabel.

https://cvsweb.openbsd.org/src/sbin/disklabel/
https://man.openbsd.org/disklabel

I then decide if I want to do a dump and restore, with a refresh install
based on current automatic disk allocation values.

I have never had an out of space issue with OpenBSD upgrades.
