Just because people don't reply or comment, it doesn't mean that your patches
are being _ignored_.

I read through almost all of the patches posted to -tech, looking for obvious
typos or common C language mistakes, (even more so for patches that comes from
less experienced coders), and unclear English in manual page updates, etc.

If I see nothing obviously wrong, and it's not an area of the codebase that I
care much about, or which I am not particularly familiar with the history of,
in other words my opinion of the patch is neutral, (neither positive or
negative), then I don't bother posting a reply.  Or at least wait to see what
other people's opinions are before commenting.

Very likely other people take a similar attitude.
