    You can run sysupgrade -sf to force an upgrade with the existing,
    already installed snapshot.
    
    It's only sysupgrade(8) itself (i.e. the shell script) that checks if
    you are moving forward. All other components (bootloader, bsd.rd) just
    use what you give them.
