A better point would be among the other PCI devices.  Looking at
GENERIC I'd put it immediately before "sdhc* at pci?".

It would be nice if a missing console device wouldn't crash the
kernel.  But fixing that issue is hard because there are so many
differences between architectures in how console attachment is
handled.  And it is useful to have a serial console to debug failed
upgrades.

So ok kettenis@ (with the suggested move).  Talk to Theo whether this
can/should make release or not.
