Just as a point of information, I've been running swapless amd64 and i386 with no ill effects for over a decade, along with sporadic macppc and octeon. arm64 is the first arch I've run into the aforementioned process killing problem. If this is a hard rule, though, I can start by proposing a FAQ diff. Brian Conway
