Not a spamd user (IME greylisting without at least masking on /24 simply drops too much legitimate mail, and neither spf walk nor dnswl.org are good enough to reliably pick up IPs to exempt), but... - nobody should be using nixspam, this default config file needs fixing - I would be unhappy about an OpenBSD default config directing traffic at a non-OpenBSD domain for this - the wikipedia url mentioned in the sample file is dead too I think we could just stop providing a default spamd.conf. > To see how "static" is the mirrored nixspam file, I manually > fetched file=www.openbsd.org/spamd/nixspam.gz and was actually > surprised at its content: It basically lists 199.185.0.0/16 > individually with a /32. > #-------------------------------------------------------------------------- > # nixspam list formatted for spamd > # retrieved from http://www.nixspam.net/download/nixspam-ip.dump.gz they list every IP in the /16 that requests the nixspam-ip.dump.gz file, in an attempt to get people to stop using this list which they have been telling people not to use for some time now. In the case of the mirrored copy that was requested by an OpenBSD machine hence the 199.185.xx.
