The new messages don't really match the tone of other messages,
which don't contain verb structure.  They all follow the form of "situation.",
with the situational implication that this error.

Shorter form "define macro with empty name." and "pushdef macro with empty name."
would match others like "too many include files." and "bad base %d for conversion."
better.
