What I find useful is to get *coherence* in a implementation, since this helps to deduce, reducing the need to memorize. Of course, a same behaviour doesn't fit all cases, but as far as I understand, depending of whatever you need to do after pasting the text, it could be just as convenient the cursor to land on the first or the last line. Am I wrong to assume that the probability is fifty-fifty? At least what you suggest takes in care that the change I propose cannot be judged from one particular case. -- Walter
