Also (though relating to the draft rather the bgpd implementation), a small prefix announcement won't make it far where multiple networks are involved - so, practically, people using this might want to announce a covering /(24|48) to make it to the rest of the world - even if only a single address is affected, a depreferred /24 would often be preferable to an announcement that doesn't make it through to be able to do anything..
