Ok; hm, it is on Linux, and it seems there the manual is converted
from mdoc to man macro (why *this*?)!  And

  zless /usr/share/man/man5/sshd_config.5.gz

gives that 1:1:

  -nosplit

So there must be a converter script, and it is broken.
But i can assure you it is for many years.

I really hate this community behaviour.  I mean: this is OpenSSH,
not some minor library or script needed to fulfill some
dependency.
