It has not, I wouldn't say no to a volunteer to do that, I don't have
the infrastructure to do one.
(ok, I don't have the infrastructure set up)

I don't think it should cause too many issues, as the list of
incompatible changes seems pretty safe and I haven't seen any issues in
my limited testing.

I would though hate to cause problems for folks at a hackathon though,
so perhaps getting a bulk done and committing after that is complete is
the best choice.  I've been slacking on this long enough that a bit
longer won't hurt.
