  • Not a legal expert by any means, but for this particular case I'm
    using the API of OpenAI that grants ownership and responsibility of
    all generated code to the user, that is myself.
    And because this code is not completely AI generated as it required a
    prompt, integration, review and pruning, it should be protected by
    copyright law, that is,the user (me) also has the copyright of the
    generated code.
    
    I should be able to license this code under BSD. BTW I'm not yet
    proposing those particular patches to the kernel as they are somewhat
    experimental (but anybody is free to use them), but may do in the
    future with a more mature version.
