    Thank you for testing it.  Perl 5.40.1 is scheduled to be released on
    Saturday.  I am testing the RC and it seems to work well.  Once that is
    released, I'll see about timing on the import.

    There are also a few crashes that will be fixed in 5.38 by the upcoming
    5.38.3 release, but not sure they are worth an errata.
